AMD just released their new Ryzen CPUs which are supposed to be decent overclockers. And they finally keep up intel parts (even beating them in multicore applications) http://www.techradar.com/how-to/how-to-overclock-a-ryzen-processor Almost every CPU now a days has boost mode or turbo or whatever they call it so user overclocking almost isn't necessary anymore.
